"When two people relate to each other authentically and humanly, God is the electricity that surges between them.” Martin Buber
About Michael
I am a certified Rolfer, trained at The Rolf Institute of Structural Integration in Boulder, Colorado. I am also a Craniosacral Therapist, certified through the Colorado Cranial Academy, also in Boulder, Colorado. I feel that my role as a therapist is that of a facilitator working with the client to achieve their own personal goals. I strive to create a safe and comfortable environment for personal growth and healing by sharing my knowledge and putting all the creativity, love and attention I have at the client’s disposable. I feel blessed for the opportunity to collaborate with others in this profound experience of healing, maturing and growth.
I am also a certified yoga instructor, trained at the Kripalu Institute in Stockbridge, Mass, and a Spiritual Director, trained at the Tacheria School of Spiritual Direction, in Tucson, Arizona.

More About Michael
Michael has been practicing Rolfing Structural Integration since 2005 and Craniosacral Therapy since 2003.
More recently, Michael’s interest in human embodiment and empowerment has lead him to study and train in trauma recovery and nervous system resiliency.
By using these modalities in tandem, Michael has found that clients can integrate the work done in the session more easily -- allowing them to benefit both from a deeper sense of healing and a greater awareness of how to take this new experience of health out into their day-to-day life.
Rolfing® is a body therapy consisting of hands-on manipulation and movement education designed to improve whole body alignment, balance, and flexibility. In the body, muscles, fascia, tendons, ligaments, organs, and bones seamlessly attach to each other in one continuous web. Rolfing addresses this web by working with the connective tissues of the musculoskeletal system and by seeking to return the body’s myofascial relationships to their natural order and integrity. It aims to restore normal range of motion to restricted tissues with mobilization techniques, practical, structural, and movement strategies.
Michael incorporates craniosacral therapy into all his sessions. The craniosacral system plays a vital role in maintaining the environment in which the central nervous system functions. It consists of the membranes and fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord as well as the attached bones that make up the cranium and the tailbone area (the sacrum). Because of its intimate connection to the central nervous system, working with the craniosacral system can have a powerful influence over a wide variety of body functions. Craniosacral Therapy helps the body release restrictions by listening to and communicating with the body itself. By doing so, Craniosacral therapy can tap into and amplify the body’s own inherent movement towards healing and health.
Michael’s work as a manual therapist has always been informed by his own process of self-discovery and commitment to spirituality. He continues to practice and learn from many of the world’s wisdom traditions, such as: Buddhism, Adviata Vedanta (non-duality), Sufism, Christian mysticism and dream work . He is a Spiritual Director and a meditation teacher and recently completed a 2-year Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification program with Sounds True, Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield. Pre-pandemic Michael was a yoga and Postural Fitness instructor. He is also a visual artist, a chi-kung practitioner and a lover of the Sonoran desert.
